We’re heading back to America with our buddies from Jazz & Fly Fishing, but this time it’s the Rockies and Wyoming! It’s the perfect time to go, as the song would say: late September / early October, the trout are fattening up for winter (which can come early out there) and they’ll jump on just about anything! And the great thing is, in America there are actually fish. They haven’t been emptying the rivers for 2,000 years like we have over here… anyway, maybe a good plan for next year (if we can still go to the US, or if world politics lets us travel or put fuel in the tank, whatever kind it may be)! In the meantime, enjoy the trip!
Jazz & Fly Fishing take their fly rods to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool for some shadow casting in front of the Washington Monument, then head west to fish Wyoming’s legendary Green River with guide Will Broader. In this second of six episodes, the tour rolls on from concerts in Washington D.C. to a gig at City of Asylum in Pittsburgh, and on to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There, the band trades pavement for a drift boat on the Green River, one of the great trout rivers of the West Jazz & Fly Fishing is a jazz quartet from Norway, Sweden and Finland who tour, play and fish. This is the story of their US tour.
