We’re heading to the Guyanese jungle with Sam Lungren and April Vokey. This trip, or rather this adventure, will introduce us to the fish that inhabit these mysterious waters. Some species inspire us to dream, such as the peacock bass, which devour poppers, violently tearing through the surface. Others are more enigmatic to us salmonid fishermen, with impressive snags. It is also an opportunity for our protagonists to meet the indigenous peoples who live along these remote rivers. They share their cultures and ways of life with us.
