Organza Pheasant Tail

Here’s another little gem from Davie McPhail. A very fine looking little nymph, having nothing to do with Sawyer’s PT except for the… pheasant tail (!) built with a material I find quite interesting precisely because it’s synthetic and cheap, and makes for a fly that’s easy to wash when it gets full of mucus. Like every other McPhail fly, this one looks fishy as hell.
