Alright, you’re one of us now — you get it: if you want to catch trout, either you head up into the mountains where the water’s cooler, you go fish at 5am with your eyes still half-glued shut, or you gamble on the evening bite and, with a little luck, land some fish 5 minutes before dark… Basically, same as us — you’re stuck with the same lousy options!
Unless… unless you switch things up and leave the Salmonids in peace (which we’d strongly recommend) and focus on the Cyprinids instead — and have a blast doing it, like a kid again!
Here’s an idea: head out with Max Ardechefishing and fish in the Ardèche — you won’t be disappointed! Otherwise, it’s the perfect time to go to Spain and hit the barbel on dry fly!
