FLY FISHING IN ARGENTINA

It’s a dream for many, but for those of us who have been there, we agree that it’s not a paradise for trout, but for trout fishermen! So here we are with the guys from FLY ALL SZN, and we’re lucky enough to join them on a dream trip in this film that lasts almost two hours (get your sandwiches and cold drinks ready)!

You can start saving money to go next year, because unless you get a last-minute deal… the season ends in April. But that way you’ll have time to get ready, find out who to go with and where to go. The best option is a road trip. Of course, there are lodges waiting for you, and they like to feel you up when they hug you to see if you have a big wad of cash, but we prefer to sleep in tents, drive for miles, meet lots of people, discover new rivers… adventure, whereas lodges are nice but… a bit boring…in our own opinion.

“Argentina. Fishing here is like being awake within a dream. Ten times the size of New Zealand and all but unexplored compared places like the United States.. the opportunities for any angler in this unknown Argentina are more than endless and almost overwhelming.. Millions of years of wind and water have cut the towering peaks of the Andean expanse into a visual splendor unlike any I’ve ever seen. Mendoza.. A city, a region, a bridge between worlds? In this rugged landscape, both familiar and foreign. The Gauchos still herd their stock wild and free.. Titanic Condors cast their ominous shadows across the endless glacial grey.. and the braids of Silver house some of the best fly fishing the world has yet to see. From tranquil spring creeks tucked away on top of the world, to intimidating opaque torrents cutting through desolate desert, the FLY ALL SZN crew will be embarking on a once in a lifetime adventure in the southern hemisphere. A myriad of New sights, New sounds, and hey even new friends. Learning about the culture and cuisine all through the lens of a fly rod.. Deep in the heart of the Andes mountains and far away from anything we’ve ever known, this is the set and setting for an unforgettable trip..”
