Scottish Opening Day – River Helmsdale

Silver Addicts – Salmon in Scotland is like a religion, you don’t mess with it. Especially when it comes to Opening Day, you’ve been waiting for it for the whole winter, you’ve been tying flies for THAT day. It’s a pilgrimage, but more fun!

It’s a film about friendship, first because our frined Raphaël spotted it on the web as you spott a fish in water and than it’s a film about friends getting together for that very special day and at last, who comes on the screen? Our friend Colin McLeod, you know, the flyfisherman/surfer/singer from the Hebrides. That film is a beauty, it’s a beauty for the soul because humans are sometimes amazing and it’s a beauty for the eyes since it’s perfectly shot and that the colour grading is amazing. It’s the perfect film that makes you say: I wish I was there, on River Helmsdale!

Just watch it BIG screen and enjoy!
