Jardines de la Reina

Jardines de la Reina, it’s the name of a coral reef, one of the most beautiful in the world, and an absolutely magical place for biodiversity. Protected by Cuban restrictions on the boats’ autonomy, and maybe also because of a certain vision of Cuban heritage, le gardens of the Queen stayed intact in the shadow of Fidel. A sublime place for fishing, and for scuba diving. And also, as always, threatened… Will man learn anything before we really screw up everything? So much beauty, so much sadness.
