Best surf movie in a long while, going from Boorman’s Emerald Forest to regular but top notch greasy rock surf footage. Everything is as pro as it gets, a feast for the eyes and ears. There’s a healthy dose of cliché, of course, but at such a level of crafstmanship, it’s almost better this way. The Wild is the 2015 REDirect Surf Film Festival Grand Prize Winner.
