Like all Rio flylines, they are extremely slick. They load the rod very well and are very efficient to cast a streamer accurately close to the bank. With the new Sage Pike rod, this flyline has given me a lot of satisfaction. One thing however, it does not tangle less than another flyline.
Rio comes once again with an excellent product. If it’s not a revolution, it is very well done, and deserves merit. I’m now really hoping that Rio will make this flyline with their new ConnectCore technology (as for the Rio Perception flyline), to have a quasi no-stretch flyline (as for the Airflo ones), and ease both strike detection and hook up. And personally, I’d be happy to see them with higher densities, up to S7 or S8…
