The chicken cooks low and slow \u2014 <strong>5 hours<\/strong>\u2026 but when you love something, you don&#8217;t count the hours!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For the marinade:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Tomato paste (about 50g \/ 1.75 oz)<br>&#8211; Soy sauce (2 tbsp)<br>&#8211; Worcestershire sauce (2 tbsp)<br>&#8211; Honey or maple syrup (2 tbsp)<br>&#8211; Crushed dried chili flakes (a generous pinch)<br>&#8211; Paprika, 2 tbsp (if you don&#8217;t have chili flakes, hot paprika works too)<br>&#8211; Olive oil<br>&#8211; Two garlic cloves<br>&#8211; Two shallots<br>&#8211; One bouillon cube<br>&#8211; 10cl \/ about \u2153 cup water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Start by making your marinade:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peel and finely mince the shallots, and do the same with the garlic. In a mixing bowl, add: tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic, shallot, paprika, honey or maple syrup, and a bit of olive oil. Add the bouillon cube and the 10cl \/ \u2153 cup of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex (always taste as you go to adjust if needed)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Chicken:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take your chicken pieces and dip them into the marinade in the mixing bowl, making sure they&#8217;re well coated.
