Many of us are impatiently waiting for the season to begin. We tie flies late into the night, and even though it doesn’t get light until around 8 a.m., our nights are too short, punctuated by sudden awakenings, nightmares of fish getting away, tippets breaking\u2026 And yet, as soon as we can, we feed our obsession by leafing through magazines\u2026 but above all by scrolling through our phones or, at best, watching fishing films or finding ourselves here\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But all this is a bit like the substitutes we give addicts to avoid withdrawal symptoms\u2026 What we really want is the real thing, to be at the water’s edge, rod in hand, watching our fly descend into the right current, tense, ready to strike at the right moment! But we’ll have to wait a little longer than the three weeks between now and the opening\u2026 For us, it will be sunny days and the first warm weather\u2026 So to tide you over and give you something to chew on while you wait for \u201cdinner,\u201d here’s a gem that will keep you busy for a good hour and fill your restless nights\u2026 Oregon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
