With reels, it is not the same ; with the exception of the reels for the tuna hunters, most of the high end reels do a perfect job for what we do 99% of the time. So why not choosing the most beautiful one? I’m totally in love with my\u00a0 Loop Opti reels<\/a>, the DryFly for the 5-weight, the Runner for 7 to 9 weight, and last but not least, the truely gorgeous Speedrunner for flylines up to 10-11, absolutely perfect for pike and two handed rods. I melt down every town I look at them… And compared with a rod, a fly reel is a gift that will last long.
