I have my doubts, but I can see the logic. Take the main argument of tenkara (simplicity) and infuse that into a traditional reel rod design. Certainly, this is a rod you can fish. Does it provide a pleasant casting experience? I don’t think, at least not on par with the best rods in its price range. Is it efficient when casting? Not even for the maker itself. Is it an ideal rig to slip into your backpack when you go hiking? That’s a better angle. Packing at 17″ and very fast deploy, you could sell it that way.<\/p>\n
