Fantastic photographic content, especially some amazing work by Damien Brouste. We&#8217;re used to see it on a screen, it&#8217;s a pleasure to see the pictures printed on luxury paper (FFJ is not joking about this). Very good stories too, I especially liked <a href=\"http:\/\/currentseams.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\">Culton&#8217;s<\/a> year round striper calendar and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davezoby.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\">Zoby&#8217;s<\/a> brilliant piece . But what I liked best was the Editor&#8217;s note by Steve Duda. It&#8217;s short but with hi-impact.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here&#8217;s what it says at some point:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>&#8220;A few years ago, there was a panic of hand wringing and &#8220;think pieces&#8221; lamenting the end of fly fishing as we know it. Where are the kids? Who&#8217;ll carry on our storied traditions? Are we witness to the decline and death of all we love? The arguments were flabby and emotional, and said more about the writers than the real state of the sport.<br \/>\nThe panic never really took and today, with the massive influx of youth into our sport, it just looks ridiculous.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well, just the right words for a Mouching ear. Get a subscription, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theflyfishjournal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\">the Fly Fish Journal<\/a> is great for the coffee table, and for particularly nice sunday afternoon reads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theflyfishjournal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-44113\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lemouching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/flyfishing6-3-750x418.jpg?resize=750%2C418&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"flyfishing6-3\" width=\"750\" height=\"418\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The April issue of the Fly Fish Journal was in the mail yesterday.
