This is sort of interesting as a case study. It’s a fishing movie, tropical style. The guy obviously has an eye, there are plenty of really really cool shots. During he first 3′, I was all ‘OMG, OMG, this is the video of the month”. The rough sound was good too, everything clicked in. Even the extra heavy product placement was fine, somehow.<\/p>\n
Then the guy fell in. Hubris<\/em>, they called it back in Vth century BC’s Athens. Yeah, look at me, I caught a shitload of bones, huuge bones, so much bones I want to rub them against me, and then some other bone even bigger that your mum. And I don’t care if the sound is more or less what you would get if you did an anal probe with a mike, because bones, bones, BONES, me and bones.<\/p>\n It’s a little sad. You still get very beautiful images here and there (if you get past the sonic intestinal inferno) but, I must say, it’s somewhat spoiled. Please, peeps, if you’re lucky enough to go somewhere cool with tons of fish, to have a camera rolling and talent to use is, please PU-LEASE spare us the ego trip and do a good editing job. Try to get some advice by a person with a sound judgment. We’ll love you for that, I promise.
