Inside the car, I was pushing the tape in the slot, and turning the volume way up as I was driving on the summer roads, all windows down, to the river for the evening hatch, I was singing along even if I didn’t know the words, but I was feeling happy and the dreams I had about amazing fishing were than a possibilty.
