I drove the day, I drove at night, I drove at sunrise. I spotted the glittering eyes of the wild animals in my headlights, I climbed up moutains, snaked down the valleys, full of joy, my mind filled with trout, the first ones, the ones I had been dreaming \u00a0and writting about all winter long. They were going to be there in my\u00a0<\/em>river. After all that driving we were going to hava a party, I had been maiting for so long, I dreamed of the blue wings, I dreamed of the first trout that would come up my fly. At last I was there, at last it wasn’t a dream anymore, that was “it”! I was in my waders, by the river. But the river was cold, spring was not here yet as I thought it would be, and the river had no life. The fish were down below, stressed out by the weather and the pessure changes, no insects were seen. Brasilian called it Saudade<\/em>, we call it the blues. <\/em> And that is how I felt, <\/i>waiting for a rise.<\/p>\n
