For us, fly fishermen, Autumn Leaves mean so much more, it’s the end of the season, the trout are shopping for proteins and will jump on almost everything, the country is flamboyant, days turn shorter and the forest turns brown, it’s chilly in the morning and the wind starts to blow. The wind, our enemy, he brings down from the trees all those leaves as little red and yellow boats floating down the river, it would be nothing if it wouldn’t prevent us to cast, see the fish, land our line and so on.
