The One series is the fast action rod series from Sage. It is THE series that really succedes to the Sage XP. This has been our pleasure to try the 9\u2019 10-weight for pike on the fly.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The blank of the One series benefits from the last technology at Sage\u2019s. This is the Konnetic technology, that should reduce the space between the carbon fibers. This should limit the vibrations and lateral torsions, making the rod more directionnal, more accurate. The rod is built with hard chrome snake guides, and two Fuji ceramic stripping guides. The handle cork is of premium quality. We didn\u2019t notice any problem with the reel seat. With its 119g, it is a true feather-weight for this category. It feels incredibly light in the hand for a 10-weight.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The One series is black. A classy black. With a small touch of gold, and a glossy varnish. Sober, not only. We have seen tens of black rods, but this one is far from being casual. It\u2019s highly elegant. The tube is black of course, mat finish. It is very narrow (maybe a little bit too much, one have to carefuly reflod the cover to put the screw cap on, which is a minor problem).<\/p>\n
